I work exclusively with Active Duty Military, Veterans and their partners/spouses, assisting them to navigate the impact of military life, the aftermath of combat & non-combat deployments, and the life of multiple-ongoing missions. My focus is Combat & Post Traumatic Stress, as well as what is now being referred to as "Moral Injury". Over the last 2 years, I've worked increasingly with combat & SAR aviators, and members of the Special Operation Forces (SOF) Community, co-creating custom tailored, and often unconventional interventions to match their unconventional culture and personalities.

I am an Italian who has been living in The Bay Area for the last 40 years. I am fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. I have extensive experience and training in Hakomi, Somatic Based Psychotherapy and EMDR. I have more than 15 years of experience with Santa Clara County, Department of Families and Children Services, providing support and services to individuals, children and families who have been involved with the Child Welfare System. I also have 5 years of experience providing therapeutic services at a Medical Hospital Specialized in Treating HIV/AIDS patients who suffer from Addiction, PTSD and Trauma.

That’s what I am here to do: help you overcome stress, depression, anxiety, and any other issues that may be inhibiting your mental health, relationships, and success. I have been a therapist for almost 10 years now, and I have worked with a large range of clients: from individuals of all ages, to couples, to families.

My greatest passion is bringing healing to people who have been through traumatic/stressful experiences. I have helped clients that includes children, adults and families to help them find that health perception of themselves and strength in their relationships. I know that there's no single approach that is right to resolve past experience and it is different for every individual. My approach is listening to my clients needs and helping them find peace, complete, whole and safe. So what is an ideal client? That is hard to say as every client is unique with their needs and ways to approach them are always different.

I graduated from a M.S. mental health counseling program at Eastern Washington University in 1995, got certified and ran a private practice in Seattle from 1995 through 2003. I worked in an outpatient community clinic, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, at retreat centers, and at a college counseling center until starting work on a PhD in Religious Studies and Psychology. I worked, studied, and lived in Europe, East Asia, and Africa before teaching 10 years at San Jose State University, so I am comfortable and confident working with very different sorts of people and I want everyone and anyone to feel welcome and at ease in my care.
