I also enjoy working with pre-school and kindergarten age. With young children I use proven techniques such as play therapy, sand tray, and puppet play to help children explore their feelings. I will also have experience providing groups for children and adults dealing with anger management, grief and loss, conflict resolution, divorce, and social skills.

The body carries the legacy of trauma and attachment dynamics in habits of movement, posture and nervous system regulation that can keep us stuck in the past. Therapeutic engagement doesn't have to be dysregulating and overwhelming. You shouldn't leave a therapy session feeling worse than you did when you showed up.
