Older adolescents, adults & couples are all welcome to my practice. In collaboration with you, I will help guide and support you in attaining your therapy goals by understanding the patterns inhibiting your success, happiness and fulfillment. Together we will chart a therapeutic course specific to who you are and what your goals are. I invite feedback and make corrections as needed along the way. My framework is psychodynamic to which I bring training in other theories/techniques, including: Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, CBT, attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), EMDR and trauma focused.

It is human to experience distress when we live through trauma – single events or ongoing. I work with people who are trying to manage that distress. In addition to survivors, I also work with those impacted by other people's trauma. That group can include loved ones and professionals who manage other people’s distress. I offer relational psychotherapy to individuals and trauma-focused case consultation to professionals. I am developing a sub-specialty in working with journalists exposed to occupational chronic stress and trauma. I have an appreciation for the role of journalism.
