I earned my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at The University of The Rockies. I am a compassionate counselor who meets a client where they are and offers what is necessary to move past the pain and come out on the other side. I enjoy working with Individuals, families, couples, women and girls who have a history of sexual abuse or sex trafficking, and parents of children with disabilities. Other areas that I work with is depression, anxiety, emotional abuse, grief and loss, sex addiction, sexual health and wellness, and anger management.

Dr. Maureen White, Ed.D., LPC is a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience. She approaches therapy from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) perspective, drawing upon dialectical therapy skills, EMDR skills, and a person-centered approach to individualize each person's treatment. Dr. White's extensive experience has equipped her with the skills and expertise to effectively address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. She is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered.

My approach to therapy is one focused on the relationship between client and counselor. The trust within the session is the foundation of therapy. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient,crisis intervention and community settings. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Status: Code 4, Inc. (SC4i) was created following the numerous reports of First Responder suicides across the United States and Canada. First Responders are civilian and military members who perform law enforcement, firefighter, EMS, dispatch and other emergency services. Dr. Crampton retired as a paramedic after 25 years in EMS, which gives SC4i a unique position to intimately understand the stressors associated with being a First Responder. The results of these stressors contribute to a vast number of issues. These issues include depression, anxiety, PTSD, Compassion Fatigue, divorce, domestic violence, and substance abuse.

I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology - Trauma emphasis from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I specialize in PTSD and trauma, anxiety, and attachment/relationships. Clinical treatment experience includes the Veterans Health Trauma Clinic, Colorado Springs VA Medical Center, Iron Horse Family Medicine Clinic on Fort Carson, and AspenPointe/Diversus Health. In addition to this training, I am a combat veteran spouse, mother, stepmother, and disaster responder, allowing me to merge evidence-based practice with a “field-based” and realistic approach to mental health.

Building and living a life that we feel has meaning, laughter, & connection is not easy. When we don't have these things life can feel unpredictable, unsafe, & hard to face. I believe that on a human level we all want to feel like we matter, have purpose,& other humans who understand us. I have experienced feeling like my life was not worth continuing & a counselor supported me in creating a life that I am proud of.
