We live in a complex world. COVID-19 is a tipping point for many folks. I offer online support for people experiencing despair. Despair is different than depression- something that you intuitively know. Depression is a clinical diagnosis often associated with a chemical imbalance. Despair is a psycho-spiritual imbalance. It is the language of oppression. Despair is hopelessness and a loss of meaning. It is, essentially, the anxiety that comes from an inability to be oneself in a strange (and beautiful) world.

I identify as a Togolese immigrant, daughter, sister, fur-mom, and wife in an interracial marriage. These identities influence how I show up as a therapist and constantly evolve each day. The challenges I have faced have given me both the insight and desire to work with individuals, couples, and families through their hurdles and to help them find what is and isn’t their story. I believe in the idea of assisting individuals, couples & families of different backgrounds to find their path instead of feeling stuck and tied down to societal expectations or their past maladaptive patterns.

Using traditional methods her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Using traditional and transitional methods, I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression, grief counseling, trauma release to parenting support, adolescent support, domestic relationships, and beyond.
