Your family doctor would not offer the same treatment to every patient dealing with physical pain. A licensed psychologist with 20+ years of clinical experience and an integrative orientation, I've modeled my psychological treatment approach on the family doctor paradigm. After several years of working as a Clinical Psychologist in Lima-Perú, I obtained my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in the United States. I have experience in assessing and treating families, couples and individuals within the context of their relationships, focusing on families struggling with a variety of challenges including trauma, parenting, anxiety, emotional and physical abuse, and loss. My approach encourages the growth of emotional attachment and communication resulting in an integrated well-being. I conduct therapy both in English and Spanish and I have worked extensively with the Latino community.

If you have a child who worries a lot -- when no matter what you say, no matter how much loving reassurance you try to provide, you can't get through -- it can feel deeply painful and can leave you feeling a little powerless. Kids who worry a lot often don't know how to manage their outsized emotions. As a parent, it can make you feel like you're walking on eggshells, trying to avoid any of your child's triggers. You bend over backward to try and shift your child’s mood or their perspective, but your child continues to struggle. You’re starting to wonder if it's time to get another set of eyes on the situation.

The loneliness, exhaustion, and lack of motivation are eating at you. Despite the well-meant advice from friends and family members you still feel stuck, unable to live your life fully. You know you desperately need to find meaning and purpose, but you barely know how you got here, much less how to begin fixing it. Symptoms of depression are often related to traumatic experiences.

For 25 years, I have helped people not just endure their greatest life struggles, but emerge empowered.
