Many people struggle to cope with strong/uncomfortable emotions. Learning how to "regulate" emotions is a cornerstone of mental and emotional health. God created all of us as emotional beings who also use reason and logic, not the other way around. As children, our work is to learn how to recognize, validate and effectively use feelings as guides to ourselves, our relationships, behaviors, careers and so much more! Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN) is often overlooked in the treatment of many emotional and relational challenges. As a certified CEN counselor, I will look where others don't. In addition, I help parents to attune to the emotions of their children to build healthy, strong and loving relationships.
