My approach to therapy is based on getting to know people as individuals, and then tailoring treatment to meet their unique needs. I do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to treatment. I am also an avid believer in respecting the vulnerability and privacy that are key to developing a productive therapeutic alliance. I collaborate with patients to help them identify their treatment goals, then achieve those goals in the manner that is right for them.
Throughout my career I have had the fortune of working with wonderful people facing a variety of challenges. Some highlights of my experience include treating trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse and addictive behaviors, and personality disorders.
