My areas of specialty include anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, and grief. I have experience in addiction recovery, grief counseling, tween self-empowerment, and reproductive issues. Prior to counseling, I was engaged in non-profit leadership which included speaking and coaching women and teens/young adults. In fact, it was the individuals I encountered during that season of life which inspired me to pursue professional counseling.

I try to create a warm, inviting and safe space for my clients' emotions and thoughts to be freely expressed. I am an active counselor - I will not just sit back and nod my head. My clients and I team together to find pathways for lasting healing for trauma, hurt, and brokenness. I am certified in EMDR. I counsel with a trauma informed and gestalt/eclectic approach, and treat every client with their own individualized treatment process - no "cookie cutter counseling!"

I am a licensed psychologist and have been providing therapy for individuals, families and couples for over 23 years. I have been in private practice since 1992, and have worked extensively in private, hospital and community mental health settings. Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University in 2018 and has been in the field with a variety of populations, especially children, adolescents, and adults for almost a decade overall. She has spent time working in community agencies, inpatient, and outpatient settings over the past several years. Megan has specialized over time in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem issues, and self-destructive behaviors, to name a few.
