As we walk through life, we sometimes encounter a difficult problem that feels impossible to solve. Although facing such a challenge can be extremely confusing and painful, it may also be an invitation to recognize an old habit, belief, relationship pattern, or lifestyle that no longer serves you and a time to explore new possibilities. I am honored to be able accompany and guide my clients on this sacred journey of healing, growth, and discovery.
I work with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, major life transitions, procrastination, relationship concerns, family issues, and a variety of other challenges. I also enjoy working with couples and families who wish to improve their communication (including cross-cultural communication) in order to build trust and intimacy.
My counseling style is insightful, intuitive, gentle, and extremely collaborative. When this collaboration is working well, it can look like two adventurers exploring new territory or two chefs experimenting to find the best recipe for healing. In this way, the counseling process becomes creative and enables us to find solutions that are outside the box.
