Currently providing services in person or through Telehealth: I am experienced in helping people with a variety of issues including: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse (co-occurring disorders), anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and self-esteem. A wide range of treatment methods are used including, cognitive behavioral, trauma informed care, behavior modification, and EMDR Therapy. I work hard to create an accepting environment to help nurture the therapeutic process.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an additional license as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Currently am fully trained in EMDR Therapy and working on becoming certified.
Since 2003, I have gained extensive experience working in community mental health and private practice helping people with mental illness, trauma, and substance abuse disorders make positive changes and achieve their goals.
