I take an affirming, collaborative, strengths based, trauma informed approach to therapy. My lens is grounded in the understanding that life experiences and ways of navigating distress are dependent on one’s identities, internal and external environments, and social and cultural ecosystems. I utilize a breadth of relationally informed psychodynamic approaches to support clients. Although my therapeutic style is eclectic, integrative, and flexible, it is rooted in a psychodynamic theoretical orientation with a trauma informed lens, grounded in attachment theories and framed by social justice.
I am a graduate of the Smith College School for Social Work, and am currently completing my PhD in Social Work at Smith. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years. Prior to private practice, my experience includes work in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, college counseling, outpatient community mental health, and hospice care.
I am a LGBTQIA+ and Health at Every Size (HAES) affirmative, culturally responsive provider, and offer virtual therapy that is inclusive and welcoming to adults of all ages and backgrounds, who are located in Massachusetts. I also offer clinical consultation and supervision for therapists seeking LICSW licensure.
