I have a deep passion for the healing, resilience, and growth of children and families. My clients are parents and families who may feel that they are at the end of their rope with their children and struggling to find ways to help them heal, connect, and grow. It is an honor to join clients and be a part of helping to build greater resiliency, peace of mind and relationship satisfaction. While adoption is one of my core specialties, the issues of connection, attachment, emotional regulation, and relational healing are common to everyone, and pervasive in our mood and anxiety levels. I welcome all wanting to improve relationships.
Working with adoptive families and all those within the adoption constellation has given me in-depth understanding and empathy around the unique challenges and stressors parents and children face. I use both attachment and neurobiological theories and my treatment approach is individualized to meet your needs.
My goal is to help you feel more connected and joyful: as a family, as a parent, and in relationships. I fully respect and honor diversity issues both as they relate to transcultural families, as well as the ways they can impact stress, trauma, and anxiety levels. I look forward to working with you to find creative ways towards empowerment and healing.
