Finding our strengths is an intangible but important part of living. In entering therapy, the client's relationship with the therapist can be a step in finding that strength. I specialize in adults, either in individual therapy or with the partner. I also have experience in family therapy involving teenagers and young adults. I have experience in anger management, grief, work related stress and problems of isolation.
My approach is humanistic, often involving some work on how past experiences may influence the client's reaction to present situations and relationships. The therapy is contingent upon what the client expects, his situation, plus his words and reactions in the session. There is emphasis on how thoughts, words and behavior interact.
So that money does not become a central factor in the meetings, I like to set a rate below the market price.
