Stress management is essential to living a satisfying, happy life. In my practice, I help clients discover and implement existing coping skills while also developing new strategies for stress management. My approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive. I work to provide clients with practical skills to assist with immediate stressors - while also addressing underlying issues. I provide a safe and relaxed atmosphere making sessions productive and enjoyable.
I specialize in working with graduate students as well as young professionals and professionals across the lifespan. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by transition, stressed at work, crippled by perfectionism or just generally unsettled. I find that my training is particularly useful with high stress career paths.
I have a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University and am a licensed psychologist in the State of Georgia. I trained at the Emory University Student Health and Counseling Services, Georgia Tech Counseling Center, Georgia State University Counseling and Testing Center and the Wheaton College Counseling Center in Massachusetts.
