As a counselor, my passion is helping people find hope in their healing process. It's about making commitments to healing in order to become your best self with a partner (myself) who provides a warm, safe environment while supporting you in a non-judgmental manner. Counseling can help both children and adults develop or enhance problem-solving skills, and to cope with stress and a variety of emotional as well as behavioral issues. My goal is not to make decisions or solve individuals' problems, but to gently guide them into naturally making choices that are right for them, their children, and family.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, teens, and their families, while utilizing a person-centered approach. I also have a very unique specialty and passion in regards to the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) population, to facilitate positive communication skills and improve interpersonal relationships.
My ability to build dynamic relationships with the individuals/families I support has been the foundation of my career. I utilize a variety of eclectic, individualized, evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote general well being. I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments for school age children/adolescents/teens as well as working adults.
