It’s morning and your alarm is going off. You think, "no, I just fell asleep!". Then your thoughts start to race, your heart is beating really fast and it is hard to breathe. You don't want to get out of bed, but if you don’t you know you will feel worse, as if that is even possible! Somewhere, at some point, something happened and your world started feeling chaotic and overwhelming, and since then, you've been surviving on auto pilot and doing your best not to fall apart. I believe healing and healthy change is based in mindfulness practice. Our work together will include me showing and practicing with you, evidence-based mindfulness skills that help decrease and manage feelings of overwhelm, anxiety and stress. We will also explore and address the issues that underlie these feelings. I look forward to working with you.
