About
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Sex Addiction Therapist - Supervisor, and licensed MFT with a private practice in Santa Monica, California since 1994. I offer interpersonal psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups as well as psychological testing and assessment. My areas of expertise include: substance and process addictions, trauma/abuse, positive psychology, impaired professionals and first-responders, as well as grief/loss, disfigurement, and cross-cultural issues. I provide traditional, forensic, and pre-employment psychological assessment as well as Collaborative/Therapeutic evaluations.
In addition to individual, family, and group therapy, I am one of the few Los Angeles-based psychologists doing Collaborative/Therapeutic Assessment, which uses psychological testing as a brief, dynamic intervention, to help clients, their referring therapists, and other professionals address diagnostic challenges and entrenched patterns.
As a psychologist who has lived in several countries and speaks several languages, I bring unique expertise to working with multi-cultural issues. My background in the arts, design, and athletics has also informed my professional work with creatives and athletes as well as others focusing on performance issues.
