Welcome! Many individuals have experienced traumatic events or adverse experiences that resulted in posttraumatic stress. My specialty is treating trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, survivors of narcissistic and psychopathic abuse, adult children of emotionally immature parents, and I am well educated in women's issues associated with menopause. Treating mental health also includes treating the brain and the body. I have over 20 years experience in fitness and nutrition that can be brought into the treatment process for a more holistic approach to healing.
I am trained in TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, EMDR, ADHD-CPT, anxiety, depression, and I am a Certified Complex Trauma Professional level I & II. Focusing on strengths and using compassion and empathy leads to healthy positive change and improves relationships all around. Additionally, I am a Christian Counselor should you chose to integrate spirituality with therapy.
