I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing individual, couples, family & group psychotherapy. I have a diverse background working with women, Native American populations, & Veterans in rural communities. I have worked with individuals with adverse histories of trauma, PTSD, childhood abuse & neglect, depression & anxiety. My primary modalities of treatment include but are not limited to CBT for Depression, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Wise Mind Skills), EMDR & practicing Mindfulness in my sessions.
My primary goal in treatment is to meet a person where they are on their life journey. I pay specific attention to building a rapport of trust with her clients & realize that this process varies from person to person. I have experience working in the Native American population & am a Hoopa Tribal member myself.
I have a passion for supporting others while using a strengths-based approach and integrating the client’s culture and experience to best meet the needs and goals of the client.
