Tracy J Herrera
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, CADC
Everyone struggles from time to time. I consider my job to be assisting with that struggle so that the individual can go on living a healthy, productive and rewarding life. I work with my clients, by first, establishing a good rapport and then, teaching the skills necessary for the individual to be able to function and live his/her life without constant assistance. I am a firm believer in homework and encourage my clients to be fully engaged in the therapeutic process. My most rewarding moment is seeing a client succeed in an area they formerly felt weakness in.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I specialize in Anxiety and Depression as well as a variety of addiction issues. I see adults and children for a variety of psychological disorders.
I take an eclectic approach to counseling as I believe all people are unique and as such, should have a unique counseling approach. I use CBT, Imagery and Relaxation Training, REBT, Solution Focused Therapy as well as many others. I like to provide clients with many different tools.
