As always, I make it a priority to help my clients feel at ease with me and with the work we do together. If you were my client, you can expect me to be warm, welcoming and supportive. My specialty areas include ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, relationship issues, and self-esteem building, and I have personal comfort with many other presenting concerns (please see side bar).
I use several techniques in therapy: Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Rational Emotive, Solution Focused, Dialectical Behavioral, and Internal Family Systems. Used eclectically, these techniques are largely successful in not only easing the pain of emotional suffering, but provide strong coping skills to help navigate through life's ups and downs.
I have a non-judgmental, warm, accepting and supportive demeanor, both as a person and as a therapist. I do my best to ensure my client feels heard and understood and empowered to grow as a person. I welcome you and look forward to meeting you!
