My name is Tracy Crowell, and I am a licensed mental health professional and a nationally certified counselor. I am currently working on my doctoral degree in Psychology. My goal is to help individuals who are struggling with life's issues and challenges and implement coping strategies and insight that will help them find the solutions they are looking for to live a happier and more fulfilled life. The clients that I work with, that are a good fit for my style and approach of therapy, are young adults and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relational issues, adjustment issues, and trauma.
My approach to therapy focuses on the needs of each client that I work with. I use an integrative approach and commonly use cognitive behavioral therapy, insight therapy, psychoeducation, and mindfulness to understand the client's situation and work together with the client to find acceptable solutions for their problems.
My communication style is calm, nonjudgmental, and personable. My goal is to build positive rapport and trust with the client, so they are comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with me as we work towards moving forward towards their desired outcome in life.
