Openings for online clients! I specialize in helping people who feel they are not “enough” or should be different or perfect. They often feel invisible, unappreciated, and are in "toxic" or even narcissistic relationships. Do you give your kindness and compassion to others but not yourself? If you're willing to feel all the feelings and be vulnerable, you can challenge the "shoulds" in your mind and learn to accept and celebrate your authentic self. You can correct unhealthy relationship patterns (even with yourself), assert good boundaries, and practice self-compassion. Life is hard enough without you being so hard on yourself!
My speciality is individual therapy with college students and adult clients (18+) who have experienced narcissistic abuse by parents, spouses, siblings, and partners. I use a collaborative, trauma-sensitive, client-centered approach to enhance mental/emotional health, and to empower my clients to establish healthier relationships with themselves and others.
My therapy is often described as warm, enthusiastic, accepting, and flavored with humor (and cat cameos!).
