I am an experienced psychologist providing brief and long-term psychotherapy and crisis intervention to individual adults. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, separation and divorce, loss and grief, life transitions, relational issues, among others. I am a Certified EMDR practitioner and an Approved Consultant. EMDR is a specialized therapy for symptom relief and the processing of stress reactions/trauma, whether experienced from the distant past or more recently. I am a facilitator for Laurel Parnell's Attachment Focused-EMDR trainings. In addition, I am a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and a facilitator of SE trainings. I provide Consultation to Licensed Professionals.
I am a respectful and careful listener with an eclectic approach to designing individual treatment plans that honor the goals that are important to you. I utilize psychodynamic, Attachment Focused-EMDR, somatic experiencing (SEP), and mindfulness. My work is collaborative and individually tailored. I provide a safe environment for exploration and change.
Fees are individually determined. Please feel free to ask questions about therapy, treatment goals, and the therapeutic relationship. Initial sessions involve a thorough evaluation and history taking in order to learn about your background, symptoms, and reasons for beginning therapy. If appropriate, referrals to other health or medical professionals will be provided.

Groups
AF-EMDR Consultation Group for Therapists
I am providing consultation for therapists newly trained by Laurel Parnell. I offer consultation for those who have completed Part I & Part II of Basic Training and are collecting their required 10 hours prior to enrolling in Part III or for those who have completed Basic Training and are collecting consultation hours to become certified. Day and time will be determined by convenience. Cost and duration of the session will be determined by the number of participants. Each therapist will have the opportunity to present each session. Groups will average 3-5 people. EMDRIA Member. Approved training facilitator for Dr. Parnell. Individual Consultation Provided.
