Welcome to a safe space. I am Tracy Alvarado and in my work I believe that creating a safe environment for my clients will help them overcome their challenges. I have an empathic but direct approach in my treatment. I believe that the relationship between a clinician and their client is just that- a relationship, and through that I hope to provide the skills and tools you need as an individual to support your healing process.
I specialize in working with individuals that have experienced trauma and am trained in EMDR. I have worked with a multitude of individuals that have navigated a variety of traumatic experiences. Ranging from personal childhood experiences to critical incidents experienced on the job and everything in-between.
Furthermore, my skills go beyond clinical knowledge and technical ability as I am the spouse of a United States Marine and the mother of a young son. Life has its stressors and there are avenues to working through those stressors in order to established an actualized self. With dedication and passion, I believe that therapy is a powerful tool.
