Something shifted, and the way you've always handled things isn't holding. I work with adults on what aging does — to the person aging, and to the people standing closest to them.  The parent whose adult child stopped speaking to them. The parent who was the one to step back. The adult child who sets a boundary and then spends the week second-guessing it. The adult managing care for a parent who wasn't good to them growing up. The losses nobody thinks to ask about — a pet, a friendship, a job. If you're the one everyone else's needs land on, or your own aging frightens you more than you say out loud, that belongs here too.
We start with what's actually in front of you. You don't have to know what this is before you get here. The direction is yours. The method is mine. The work is ours. This is individual counseling for adults navigating aging, loss, and family, and much of it is making sense of something before deciding anything about it.
