My work for the past 20-years has been focused on helping children with anxiety and behavioral problems. Just like physicians, I think it is of the utmost importance to use what is scientifically proven to work. Children deserve no less! Using evidence-based treatment, I can help children with a wide variety of difficulties including; anxiety, defiance, aggression, tantrums, sibling rivalry and other difficult behavior. For 6-years at Yale University I trained hundreds of professionals and parents from around the world in PMT and PSST including: China, Luxembourg, Poland, Canada, and Australia via webinar and in-person.

Problem Solving Skills Training (PSST) is a 12-week program, designed to teach children how to generate positive solutions to problems before acting on them. This is an important skill for ALL children to learn but is especially useful for children with anxiety, aggression, bullying behavior or victims of bullies.

Parent Managment Training (PMT) has an 80% success-rate in significantly reducing moderate to severe behavioral problems in children and when used in conjunction with PSST show even greater results. Sessions can be done over the phone, online, or in-person. Please call me with any questions! Thank you.

"The best investment I have ever made in my private practice was becoming a Certified Parent Management Training Clinician. For the first time in my counseling career, I possess the tools now to help children and adolescents with behavioral problems succeed. Incidentally, my caseload exploded from an avalanche of referrals because of PMT. The cost of the training was well worth it. Business picked up so dramatically and quickly that the training costs were recouped many times over quicker than I could have ever imagined. Take the Problem Solving Skills Training too! PMT and PSST are an unbeatable combo. I took my PMT and PSST training from Tracie. She is absolutely the most positive and encouraging person I have ever had the opportunity to meet. You will receive a first class training experience from a truly nice person!!" Andy Anderson, M.A., LPC, KPMT Certified Clinician Kazdin Parent Management Training

Andy is an amazing therapist who realized long ago that the best treatment for children with behavioral probems is based in evidence. He has spent his time and money learning these treatments and will do what it takes to help you and your family. He cares deeply about what he does and it shows with his passion for learning how to help children change even the most difficult behavior.
