About
I have an MA in Counseling Psychology – Holistic Health from John F. Kennedy University, Orinda, CA. BS in Elementary Education, Science Minor from Western Oregon University, Monmouth, OR. I am a Brainspotting Practitioner. I have over 15 years of experience as licensed therapist. I have worked with individuals, couples, families and children ranging from ages 4-82 yrs old covering a wide range of mental health diagnoses.
Much of my clinical work has been in the area of trauma-informed therapy. I have helped victims/survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse as well as people who have witnessed a wide range of criminal behaviors of others.
As a former teacher, I have worked in the public and alternative school settings teaching 4th to 8th graders as well as at the university level. Early in my career, I worked extensively with children and adolescents and continue to enjoy working with this population and their families.
