About
I am a seasoned therapist with a desire to be a support for sustained change in people's lives. My specialties include counseling couples, and individuals struggling who want a better sense of self. I also have an extensive background working with adolescents, especially those who struggle with anxiety, and depression. I consider myself an eclectic therapist who tailors my style to meet individual client needs. Now also offering co-parent counseling sessions for pre/during/post divorce cases! I enjoy working with children (13+) and adults, in addition to offering services for client comfort in a homely office setting.
I have been in the field for 28 years and have worked with an array of populations. I have experience in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, Autism, adolescents, adults, relationship issues, blended families, and first responders. I also work with parents of special needs children and traumatic pregnancy/birth issues.
I am an certified Civil and Domestic Relations Mediator. I am also trained to be a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and am a Certified School Counselor K-12. Visit my Facebook page Traci Smith LPC for more information. I pride myself on thinking outside of the box, and being easy to relate to. I do provide Superbills for insurance reimbursement.
