I work with adolescents and adults doing individual and couples therapy. I help people change unhappy patterns in their lives and find relief from suffering. I utilize psychodynamic interventions, IFS therapy, and EMDR to help clients change. Gaining insight into unconscious processes is an important step in recovering from trauma, anxiety and depression. Making the unconscious conscious, learning about parts, and overcoming past contributors to current suffering, are all part of the therapeutic process.
I specialize in insight-oriented therapy as well as EMDR, which is a somatically oriented therapy that helps clients recover from PTSD and from childhood/developmental trauma. I also do parts work. I am currently involved in IFS therapy training and am glad to offer this to clients.
