Howdy! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the State of Texas. I earned my BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University (Whoop!), a M.Ed in School Counseling from Lamar University as well as a Professional Certificate in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. I have over 14 years of experience within the educational setting and am also certified in school counseling.
As a therapist, I like to meet each client where they are and apply appropriate therapies, methods, and strategies. I consider myself a Person Centered therapist and believe the client is the expert in their life, and my role is to assist and guide my clients while using an empathic approach that empowers and motivates my clients in the therapeutic process.
