Traci has a passion for working with individuals with all types of cultural, spiritual and family backgrounds. She has a particular interest in working with people who want to heal from racial and systemic injustice and those managing interracial and/or intercultural relationships. She also has unique experience and interest in working within a Muslim cultural worldview and religious context for those needing support around immigrant/refugee/convert experiences and relational/family issues bridging cultures. Traci shares the belief that the best therapy is safe, supportive, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive.
Traci is trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Somatics and Trauma, Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), CBT/DBT/ACT, Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Antiracist/Liberation Therapy approaches and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She is a member of the National Association of Social Work (NASW) and California Society of Clinical Social Workers.
