I have been a therapist specializing in family dynamics for over 20 years. I treat children (as young as 5) adolescents and adults who are experiencing difficulty with behaviors, thoughts/feelings and family conflict. My experience is deeply rooted in attending to the needs associated with trauma. This experience has allowed me to successfully treat complicated issues such as, domestic violence, divorce, anxiety & depression, manage family conflict and provide parenting support. I intimately understand the intricacies of these obstacles and can successfully lead my clients through the complicated physical & emotional discomfort.
I also specialize in Art Therapy which uses the creation and expression of one's own art as the vehicle for growth. I use Art Therapy to enhance the verbal processing that occurs during therapy. Children are highly drawn to the natural creative expression of the art, however, traditional talk therapy is also an option for all populations.
My deep Knowledge of child development & family dynamics helps me treat individual children/adolescents experiencing difficulties in school, with peers, or suffering from internal conflicts as well as adults who have parenting concerns, family conflicts affecting the family system or individuals experiencing conflict in their dating or marital or partnership
