My name is Tracey D. Little. You can call me Tracey. After 30 years in the Social Work Field. My style is non-judgmental, exploration of the answers within the individual. Respect for you as a person. Sometimes, my tone is soft - sometimes it's firm - but it's all out of love and the belief that change can happen. Although, the environment is virtual, creating a safe nurturing environment is important, punctuality, communication, and transparency. I strongly believe the mind, body, and spirit are connected and you cannot address one without touching on the others.
Goal setting takes place after a comprehensive mental health evaluation history is gathered. Afterward, we discussed the reason you came in and what the evaluation indicates. We develop goals based on immediacy of a concern. Steps are created and then progress is reviewed in 3-month intervals.
As mentioned above, the first session is a get-to-know-you session. It's a tell-your-story session, where I solicit information on various life areas such as mental health, health, employment, education, family, etc.
