Servicing clients is case by case and through assessments, will determine their care and the approach to take. The goal is to ensure the client is comfortable and willing to share and not feel force to share. When the space is provided the flow of the conversation is natural and the client will begin the journey to healing.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years and my background in dual diagnosis clients. Most of my clients have both mental health and substance abuse issues. I have worked with throughout the years, have a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and substance abuse issues.
My approach to counseling is open and non- judgmental. The key to be an effective counselor is to treat everyone with dignity respect, and compassion. My approach to counseling combines cognitive-behavioral, reality and person-centered counseling. Your treatment plan is catered to your specific need and concerns.
