I believe in creating a safe space that allows the opportunity to build trust and connection. Opening up can be scary, stressful, and difficult. As you learn skills and gain self-understanding, you'll increase confidence and achieve success. Changing thoughts and perspectives will allow you to gain control over old fears and habits. Life experiences, big and small, can leave scars on us, which can be labeled as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Traumatic events, such as accidents, illnesses, abuse, or major losses, can create a sense of numbing or shutting down, making it difficult to experience happiness or even relaxation.

I believe in your ability and capacity to feel better. My specialty is providing experienced, knowledgeable, and individualized care. I work in a nurturing, collaborative manner to create an environment where you feel supported. I use practical concepts and strategies to help you practice new behaviors that increase confidence.

I have the experience and knowledge required to work with trauma, panic, and anxiety issues. I enjoy helping adolescents, adults, and couples with these issues. I specialize in treating trauma and use a variety of resources, including neurofeedback, to address the regulation of physical symptoms.
