It's hard to be a human, and when mental health is struggling it can feel impossible! I find that when we are struggling we can either feel controlled by emotions, or have trouble connecting with them. Sometimes it's hard to trust your yourself; You might not know how to move through life with everything going on. Having a safe place where you can be curious and let your emotions come out is important.
I see therapy as a web. All the things we discuss are their own thread, but they intersect and join in the middle. When we work on one thing it supports us on working on the others. In session we collaborate and navigate this web together.
Starting this process can be intimidating but through leading with empathy, kindness, and humor; I aim to create a space that feels genuine and safe to share. We can hold so much with us as we move through our days, and I feel honored to be able to hold some of that weight with together.
