I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of experience in the mental health field, including 10 years working with Veterans. I have the knowledge and skills to assist individuals with a variety of diagnoses, such as PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders, and psychosis. My focus is on helping clients develop interpersonal and distress tolerance skills to manage their emotions effectively. I also help individuals identify vulnerabilities that trigger negative thoughts or cognitions, which often lead to anxiety or depressive symptoms.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) with honors from UNC-Charlotte. My experience spans working with diverse populations, including those struggling with the challenges of parenting and learning to create a sense of self-worth while balancing work, family, and personal time.
One of the hardest things we face is the need to change our life’s story or narrative, the "Who I Am," as we transition from adolescence to adulthood and beyond.
