Most of my clients come to me with histories of emotional abuse, difficult upbringings, or toxic romantic relationships. They often feel ashamed and insecure about these circumstances. Unpacking trauma is vulnerable, but the healing is profound. And whether it's your first time seeking treatment- or you've had therapy experiences in the past- I will strive to help you build a more authentic and meaningful life.
I specialize in helping adult women recover from trauma, codependency, and challenging family dynamics. I am also an affirmative therapist who works with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community. My practice is inclusive and authentic. I am EMDR Certified and I integrate EMDR, ego state work, somatic work, and psychodynamic interventions in my therapy.
479 Counseling is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and welcoming to people of all spiritualities. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, fun and relational, and more holistic than medically-driven.
