I am passionate about broadening client's perspectives during challenging moments, building strength, and helping people to stay connected to their values while moving forward toward to achieve their goals. I enjoy working with children ages 10 and up, adolescents/teens, adults, and families. I am available in-person in the Mooresville, NC area and virtually within the state of North Carolina.
I have experience treating depression, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and feelings of shame. My expertise continues into Learning Disabilities, ADD/ADHD, emotion/mood regulation, relationships and parenting. I am extensively trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Attachment-based Family Therapy & Motivational Interviewing.
I am evidenced-based and integrative in my treatment approach, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which helps clients process and overcome past traumas. I have experience providing in-home intensive treatment, including case management for high-risk children, teens and families. I also have a therapy dog
