Do you ever feel stuck? As a parent, do you ever feel lost on how to handle the struggles your children/teens are facing? If so, you are not alone! I specialize in helping families learn strategies and coping skills to help tackle life’s challenges. I believe my role as a therapist is to provide my clients and families with the skills they need through various therapeutic approaches. My clients and I work together as a team to develop goals that are specifically tailored to each client’s individual needs.
In my therapy sessions I use a wide variety of treatment modalities. I specialize in Sandplay Therapy, Trauma/Focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Storyplay and Art Therapy, and EMDR. I am also a Certified Child Trauma Professional and have training in Play Therapy.
I have experience working in domestic violence shelters and as a school social worker, trauma therapist, and counselor. All of these experiences have helped me develop a passion for helping children, adolescents, and their families overcome challenges and help them succeed.
