About
In this increasingly complex world in which we live, taking responsibility for our thoughts, actions, and interactions with others can be challenging. The ability to understand and "own" our choices can reveal the possibilities for making necessary and desired changes in our lives. I can help you understand and recognize those choices. We will take a look at all the factors that have influenced your life experiences to this point. Working together, we can set goals, develop strategies for changing negative thought patterns, and implement new behavioral skills, all within a Christian faith-based context.
As the mother of a blended family, I find working with issues related to divorce and second families to be especially rewarding. My other areas of interest and expertise include parenting, relationship challenges, communication and conflict-resolution, individual insight and personal growth, and all aspects of grief and loss.
As an Approved Clinical Supervisor, I provide supervision for LLPC's who are working toward their full licensure. I have completed extensive post-graduate training in Supervision as required by the state and am a member of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES). I have provided supervision in university and private practice settings.

FREE. My Walk With Me Grief Support Group is offered to members of the Macomb County community to help individuals cope with the difficult transition the death of a loved one requires of us. The group is a safe environment wherein you can experience your emotions without feeling alone. I provide valuable information about the grieving process, and the group dynamic offers the opportunity to bond with others who are also grieving. You can ask questions and begin to formulate your own answers, as you adapt to the changes your loss has imposed on your life.
