When you find yourself experiencing what you hoped you would never have to endure, I am here to help. You are not alone. As a trauma and grief specialist, I am here to walk beside you in your journey toward healing and learning to live again. My office is a safe and nurturing environment where you can feel heard and in control. I utilize a person-centered approach where I truly listen to your feelings and your needs and then support you as we find ways to help you heal. My office is the place where you can drop off that heavy baggage and learn how not to pick it back up when you leave.
I am a certified trauma and grief specialist with experience in organ and tissue donation, hospice, the treatment of PTSD, and working with veterans and first responders. I am trained to utilize trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (tf-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
Sometimes, life becomes heavy; you need someone to walk beside you and to truly listen to your needs. I am here to support and encourage you as we work together to help you overcome the challenges, and life the weight of trauma and grief.
