About
Troubled by trauma and/or anxiety? If you're frustrated because you've been trying to find relief from your symptoms and have not, I'm the professional for you! I will teach you practical tools and techniques that are research-based and designed to engage you in skillfully working through your presenting emotional challenges. I specialize in working with adults with symptoms of PTSD, Complex PTSD, and anxiety. My clinical style tends to be warm, strengths-based, collaborative, and culturally informed. I have been licensed for 21 years and hold both a master's and doctorate degree in clinical social work.
I provide the following types of therapies to help you work through PTSD and anxiety: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), The Flash Technique, Internal Family Systems (IFS), IFS-Informed EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I received my doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and I am also an adjunct clinical professor for the University of Denver, Graduate School of Social Work where I teach in the trauma studies department.

This workshop will equip you with a practical framework for understanding the potential causes of your anxiety. The same framework will be used to help you gain an understanding of the steps to cultivate daily habits that may provide you with long-term relief from overwhelming anxiety and other distressing emotions. Dr. Madril will review a practical set of tools and techniques to increase your ability to successfully manage your anxiety symptoms over time. These skills are drawn from: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and self-compassion practices.
