I am a compassionate, person-centered therapist specializing in Emotion Focused Couple's Therapy (EFT), a highly effective approach helping couples achieve more trust, safety, security and closeness in their relationship. It is a very affirming model, with an active therapist guiding you and your partner as you learn new ways of relating to one another. I also use it for my clients in individual therapy. I am certified in alcohol and drug addiction.
In addition to my work with couples for the past 10 years I have 27 years of experience working with drug and alcohol clients and their families, and the many problems that arise in family systems, including substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I no longer take insurance but I can provide a "Super Bill" that you can submit to your insurance company if they provide family therapy coverage.. Self pay rate is $120 for 60 minute couple's sessions and $90 for 50 minute individual sessions.
