About
Not currently accepting new clients at this time. I am happy to help you connect with others. Is it difficult to feel close to your child because of defiance, emotional outbursts, or behavioral struggles? Have you tried therapy before, but the therapist didn’t seem to understand you? My approach to counseling for adults and play therapy for children is nonjudgmental, supportive, and often fun. I believe interacting with the world through joy and humor lets us build healing connections with others. I have 11 years of experience helping families of kids ages 2-12 with skill building to become confident, peaceful, and connected.
I understand the service system for people with disabilities, including kids with intellectual disability and autism, so I can aid you in getting your needs met in that system while also helping clients to achieve full independence and expression of their human rights. My office is accessible by paratransit.
In counseling, I help adults see their world differently and build strong, loving relationships. I assist with anger management and learning how to regulate emotions more effectively. I also do group therapy with adults who have mental illness or IDD. If you are seeking an open, understanding space to explore and learn, I look forward to hearing from you.
