I provide psychodynamic therapy in Westwood and Teaneck, NJ serving Bergen County including Closter, Old Tappan, Cresskill, Demarest, Ridgewood, Fort Lee, Englewood Cliffs, Leonia, Tenafly, Palisades Park and surrounding communities for boys and adolescents with behavioral problems and ADHD, as well as adults seeking depth-oriented psychotherapy. Many parents come to me feeling worried, exhausted, or unsure how to help their child beyond repeated behavior plans or discipline strategies. Often, what appears as “behavior” is a child’s way of communicating emotional overload, frustration, or unmet developmental needs.
My work helps boys feel better understood and more regulated, while supporting parents in making sense of what is happening beneath the surface. Over time, children develop greater emotional awareness, improved self-control, and more flexible ways of relating at home and school.
I also work with adults who feel emotionally stuck, disconnected, or burdened by longstanding patterns in relationships or work. Together, we slow things down and explore the emotional themes shaping your experience, helping you gain clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of agency in your life.

Parenting Group
This group is for parents to share their challenges and feelings regarding parenting. The group is intended to provide education and support for parents from the therapist and other participants. The group is run to provide parenting education as well as to facilitate processing difficult feelings related to parenting during session with other participants.
