The bulk of my clients are couples. I work with a range of issues including Enhancing communication, Infidelity, Sexual Dysfunction, Blended Family issues, etc. The sessions will be very focused on clearly established client goals. Homework is given to couples every session. I am a very straight forward therapist and try help clients to tap into their own reserves to find better ways to live while also sharing the huge wealth of knowledge I have from my long experience. Marriage/Committed Relationships can help us create great joy and can also bring much pain. Couples can feel overwhelmed and in great need of assistance to work through problems or stages in relationships. Don't give up until you have really worked with the help of a skilled and caring therapist!

My focus is less on what is happening within the client. It is MUCH more important to look at inter-relationships both past and present. Blame is not usually very efficient in developing intimacy. Taking personal responsibility can help a lot.
