I have been a counselor for 35+ years. I specialize in trauma recovery, and anxiety management. Some of the clients in my past include; gifted persons, transitioning adults, sexual/domestic violence survivors, persons harmed by their religious upbringing, self harming individuals, persons who are defining their sexuality and/or gender, and adults/adolescents with ADHD, and neurodivergent populations. I am deeply respectful of the right to determine your own reproductive health needs and have them met safely. If you are exploring your own neurodivergence, I can help you with that. I am autistic, ADHD, gifted, and dyslexic.
I am an unusual therapist in that I truly enjoy working myself out of a job. Helping my patients empower themselves into a more balanced state is my goal. My diverse experience allows me to design creative ways to help people find their way out of distress.
I do a great deal of recovery work with my patients. Some have been harmed in conversion "therapy", or a poor connection with their previous provider. I am an advocate for one's locus of control being within themselves. I am affirming in my work, and reject the pathology model of all flavors of neurospicy individuals.
